Coroner called to scene of VOA MetroPark water rescue

The coroner has been called to the scene of a VOA MetroPark water search in West Chester Twp., according to township officials.

West Chester Twp. crews were called around 9 a.m. today on reports of a possible water rescue, according to township spokeswoman Brianna Wooten.

Maintenance workers reported they suspected an individual had entered the pond after finding “personal effects” near the edge of the pond, according to Wooten.

No other details were available as of Wednesday afternoon.
